2012-2013 Research Grants and Awards
The Foundation for Women's Cancer is pleased to send you the 2012-2013 Research Grants and Awards booklet. The booklet describes the available grants, prizes and the application process.
This year the Foundation is offering eight ovarian cancer research grants. The Foundation also invites previous research recipients to apply for the Excellence in Ovarian Cancer Research Prize in honor of Ronald Alvarez, MD. For the fourth year, the Claudia Cohen Research Foundation Prize for Outstanding Gynecologic Cancer Researcher also will be offered. For the first time, the Foundation is providing funding for the Perlman Family CCARE Lynch Syndrome Research Stipend.
The Foundation acknowledges and thanks our generous donors. Through the important research discoveries made possible by Foundation research grants, women diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer have opportunites for improved treatments and better outcomes.
The Foundation for Women's Cancer is committed to adding research grants for cervical, endometrial, vaginal and vulvar cancer in the future and we invite your assistance.
