Message from the National Director
Happy 2014!

Wow...what a year for NPCF! We are happy to report that we exceeded our goal of raising $200,000 in 2013 and with your help we raised $231,000! Thank you to all of you for your continued support to assist those who are afflicted and affected by pancreatic cancer.

In 2013, we were able to help many families struggling with financial difficulties that come with this devastating disease. NPCF was able to provide financial assistance to families in need of assistance with rent/mortgage, utilities, food, and other basic living costs.

NPCF also awarded a grant to the University of Colorado Foundations pancreatic cancer research department. We attended a presentation in January and are thrilled with the new developments that this foundation is providing their pancreatic cancer patients. Also, we are very excited about some new developments in their cancer treatments. Click here for more information about the CU Foundation

As we move into 2014 we are focusing on two main national fundraisers. Our United in Purple 5k and our NPCF specialized license plate campaign. We are hopeful to bring much more awareness to pancreatic cancer in 2014, and we are very glad you are with us to be a part of it.

Help us continue to offer unwavering support to those in need. Together we can make a difference!

United in Purple 5k Walk  2014

We are very excited to announce that we are in the process of planning our FIRST annual "United in Purple 5k Walk". Our "pilot" walk will take place in Colorado this spring on June 8, 2014 and we will be sure to keep you informed as the plans develop.

In 2014, NPCF will be planning 5k walks in several different cities across the country, and similar to our license plate initiative, we are asking for your help! We are looking for volunteers in different states to jump in and help us with organizing locations, sponsors, donations and attendees to get these walks underway.

For more information regarding volunteering to help, please contact us at Info@npcf.

NPCF Nationwide License Plate Campaign

We are continuing to pursue our goal to have NPCF license plates in all states. This will be a great way to promote awareness and raise funds in our battle against pancreatic cancer.

To our "Purple Army" in the fight against pancreatic cancer, this is a call to action for volunteers. If you would be interested in volunteering to help us in this effort, we would love to hear from you! We are in need of volunteers who would be willing to research specific state requirements, gather signatures, or spread the word on the project! We would greatly welcome whatever time you could give on this project. Please let us know if you would be interested in donating your time!
