Ashes on the Quad

On Wednesday, the School of Divinity will offer the imposition of ashes to mark Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the liturgical season of Lent. This simple services of "Ashes on the Quad" will including singing and the receiving of ashes from 2:30 - 3:00pm on the steps of Wait Chapel. All members of the Wake Forest University community are invited to participate.
Byron Fellowship: Now Accepting Nominations
The Byron Fellowship is available to 20 students and seeks to inspire leaders of the emerging generation to engage their unique abilities in leading generative efforts within their own communities. Environmental Activist Dr. Jennifer Wagner-Lawlor

Dr. Jennifer Wagner-Lawlor, associate professor at Penn State University, is an environmental activist and advocate concerning plastic pollution and its creative transformation into works of arch which will result in a new book entitled, Visible Entaglements: Art, Advocacy, and the Ecological Aesthetics of Found Plastic Art.
