GrapeVine Sessions
In October, 6 sessions were held  reaching 66 women.  They were:

  • Marathon County - Mary Omernik

Faith Community Nursing Scholarships
  
Application Guidelines are now available for our 2014 Faith Community Scholarships. Two scholarships for up to $750 will be awarded. Applications are due January 15, 2014.  Please share with any nurses you feel would benefit from the course.

February Observances - The U.S. Department of Health and Family Services should be updating their tool kits for February observances when they update their calendar. 

 

American Heart Month - 

Heart disease kills an estimated 630,000 Americans each year and is the leading cause of death for men and women. The American Heart Association has some tips for getting healthy.

 

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month - One third of students report experiencing some form of dating abuse.  To learn more about dating violence and to sign up for 2014 teenDVmonth e-alerts visit the Break the Cycle website.
