Worship this week - January 26th
|
Dr. McIvor's sermon is "Cruciformed" based on 1 Corinthians 1.10-18. Christians disagree about many things and we could list the things we know others are wrong about. Unfortunately, Christians disagreeing isn't new. The first Christians in Corinth disagreed about which of their leaders deserved more allegiance. This led to divisions about power and status, but the apostle Paul said, "Let there be no divisions among you." Why? Because the power of God is revealed only in lives shaped by the cross. Are our lives cruciformed, that is, shaped by the cross of Jesus?

Annual Meeting and Potluck Luncheon
Bring a dish to share! Join us for a potluck luncheon February 2nd before the Annual Meeting. Feel free to bring any of the following: entree, salad, dessert, or drink. We especially need entrees! Worship at Wingate
(Rescheduled from January 19th due to snow)
We always welcome new volunteers to help with this important ministry at Wingate Nursing Home. We gather at 1:00pm, and the service starts at 1:30pm and lasts for 30 minutes. Please consider joining us this Sunday. Contact Susan DeHoff with questions.
