Give back this holiday season
On December 14th the King's community will be heading off to the St. Joseph Hospitality Centre to support those less fortunate. We serve baked goods and hot drinks, play music, cards and build community all the while providing a safe and warm place for a few hours on a Saturday night. If you can volunteer to join us for a couple of hours, or provide baked goods (homemade or store bought) or sandwiches please contact Annette in Campus Ministry.
Project Shoebox is a new initiative our community is engaging in this Christmas. You are invited to fill shoeboxes with socks, gloves, hats, toiletries and small personal items for those who are less fortunate. Please wrap these shoeboxes and indicate if they are intended for an adult male/female or child male/female. These boxes will be distributed to people at our December visit to St. Joseph's hospitality centre. Boxes can be brought to Campus Ministry in Wemple 139. Please have shoeboxes in by December 12th.
