Members may post job openings without charge. Job seekers may post their resume without charge (don't have to be a Chamber member). Anyone anywhere will be able to see the job openings. However, only Chamber
members may post jobs or view the resumes posted. This is a new benefit of
Chamber membership. We hope this will help the businesses and industries in Habersham County fill their job openings - especially those jobs that require special skills, training and certifications - and help reduce the unemployment in Habersham County.

CHAMBER TO HOST PRE-LEGISLATIVE MEET & GREET
Come meet and greet your legislators prior to the start of the 2014 session. On Tuesday, January 7, from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m., the Chamber will host a pre-legislative drop-in at Habersham EMC Community Room.
Senator John Wilkinson and Representatives Terry Rogers and Dan Gasaway will be present to meet and chat with those who drop by. These men will spend the next four or so months representing you, their constituents, at the capitol. They will be voting on bills that affect you and your businesses. If you drop by and voice particular concerns or hopes, it will help them make voting decisions. You will have the opportunity for input prior to passage of legislation. Or, just drop by and meet them. It's good to know those elected officials who represent you.
Everyone is invited. No charge; come as you are. The coffee will be hot.
RSVPs are not required.
