Winter Farmers' Markets

Enjoy Efficiency Tax Credits by 12/31
 Efficiency Maine currently offers homeowners a $300 rebate when they purchase a qualifying ENERGY STAR� heat pump water heater. These water heaters are also eligible for a $300 federal tax credit which expires on December 31, 2013. Efficiency Maine urges homeowners to explore this new technology now, while the tax credit is still available. Learn more. |

Shopping for Safe Products Just Got Easier!
 The Environmental Working Group has released an app for their Skin Deep Cosmetics Database. Their database is an online guide with safety ratings and toxicity information for more than 78,000 cosmetics and other personal care products. With this new FREE app, shoppers can quickly see a product's Skin Deep score by scanning its barcode with their smartphone.
