TONIGHT and the next two Wednesday evenings in November (6, 13, 20), our new Pastor/Head of Staff Chris Currie will be lecturing on THEOLOGY: WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?. We'll learn about theology, its roots, its relationship to how we read Scripture and its centrality to individual Christian ministry.
Meet in the Gym/Lecture Hall for dinner at 5:45 and the lecture to begin at 6:30. Childcare will be provided. |

Mark your calendars for the Family Hayride at the Hodgson's Camp on Friday, Nov. 8 from 5:30-7:30 PM. There will be a hayride and bonfire. Food will be provided and you're asked to bring $5/person to chip-in towards the cost. The camp is located at 9355 Highway 79 in Bethany, LA.

Don't miss Sojourners Sunday School THIS WEEK and next. We'll have Wilson Kennedy in as our guest teacher talking about the Theology and Practice of Youth Ministry. While not all in this class are parents of youth, some are and many will be at some point soon. This is a chance to get to know Wilson and to discuss the vital ministry of youth (and the important role for parents) in the life of the church.
