Worship this week - November 3rd

Dr. McIvor's sermon is "God of the Little People" based on Luke 19.1-10. "He was short in stature" is how the text describes him. In fact, Zacchaeus was a little man and not just because he wasn't very tall. When his story is told in Sunday School classes, he is often portrayed as a nice guy. In fact, he was a tax collector and made himself rich exploiting others. He also betrayed his own people because he collected taxes for the Romans. The Jews hated the Romans and the people who knew Zacchaeus hated him. So why did Jesus want to stay at Zacchaeus's home?
