About the Speaker

Prior to joining the SA2020, Darryl served as CEO and Managing Director for Pearl Brewery, LLC where he lead Silver Ventures, Inc.’s effort to transform the historic Pearl Brewery into a groundbreaking culinary and cultural gathering place where you can eat, live, learn and play on the banks of the San Antonio River. 

He also held a position as Vice President of Development for Medallion Homes and Worth Enterprises in San Antonio.  He received his undergraduate degree from Hampton University, and Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University.  Darryl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a former Chairman of the City Planning Commission.  He is also the former Director of the San Antonio Section of the American Planning Association and a former Co-Chair of the Leadership San Antonio Program.
