Power of Partnership:  Healthy & Safe Schools

December 5-7 school  nurses, educators and many others concerned with the safety and well-being of our children will gather together to talk with one another and learn from state and national experts about what is hurting our children and how to prevent these intentional and unintentional injuries.  We will also focus on the importance of wellness, physical activity, and following the new federal guidelines for foods served in schools.  You can read the full conference program and find the on-line registration at: www.healthykidsmo.org.  Nursing and CHES CEU's will be availalble.

Exhibit registration is also still open with room for about a few more exhibitors. Sponsorships are also still available and registration forms are under the conference tab of the web page.  You will also find registered exhibitors and sponsors listed there.

Bring your walking shoes this year and log some miles in  the 100MissouriMiles  Challenge.  There are a number of approved trails in the Lake area including one at the resort.

Already registered?  Why not share this with others in your school and community. There really is something for everyone at this year's conference.  Forward this on your staff email or send an invitation to your Care Team, SRO officers, teachers of students at-risk, administrators, counselors, food service, health and PE departments, health clerks, wellness coordinators, community partners, parent groups and more!  We look forward to seeing everyone in December!

Sincerely,
