          Message from your Principal

Dear Crocker Families,

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend!

Don't miss the Living Museum, presented by our 2nd and 3rd grade classes, this Friday, February 24th.  In this event, students select a person important to them, create a visual display, and pretend to "be" that person during the museum time.  Anyone can come and enjoy the museum; it will be going on most of the day on Friday.  I'll send out a yahoo group email with the presentation times.

February is flying by and March is almost here.  That means the Auction is rapidly approaching!  Check out the website, http://auction.crockerschool.org/ for more details. Come out and have a wonderful dinner, enjoy some great company, and purchase some great deals all in support of Crocker Highlands! The Live Auction is currently going on, so even if you can't come out and join the fun on Saturday, March 3, you can still bid on some great items.

Have a great week!

Beth Rhine

CREED ROAD STAIRS - FOR THOSE WHO WALK TO SCHOOL

A stair path at the dead end of Creed Road, ascending to Underhills Road is under contract to be repaired by Public Works (replace broken concrete, add new handrails).  This path to be repaired is heavily used by K-6 students accessing the Croker Highlands School from the lower Trestle Glen areas.  Creed Court is also a drop off point for parents using vehicles.  The City experienced a delay in the construction start.  The stair path will be closed during construction, necessitating an alternate route for the k-6 students/parents.  Construction is now scheduled for 2/20/12-3/30/12.  The path will be closed during construction.  The rebuilt stairs will be much safer for pedestrians.  The City appreciates your cooperation in notifying parents during the stair path closure.
