Dear Colleague,

This edition of the RSC eNews highlights late spring and summer scholarly activities, and brings news of what to expect in the Fall. The conference season opened in May and June with two sets of Canadian learned societies meetings. The RSC has developed a new partnership with ACFAS (Association francophone du savoir), long a champion of scientific research. Its highly successful annual meetings this year, which I attended, were at Universit Laval. Another RSC-supported "Big Thinking" Lecture was presented at the CFHSS Congress at the University of Victoria. This high profile event featured the distinguished jurist, and child advocate Mary-Ellen Turpel Lafond.  Read the Message from the President>>
