Greetings!
Oh,
September! What a hectic month of the year! On one side, it is the
start of the new school year for my children, and on the other
side, it seems as if all the exhibitions, fundraisers, deadline for
submissions, receiving for shows, etc, etc, all happens at once. I
feel, as if I have to become a juggler to be able to manage my time
wisely, but not to complain. I feel blessed to be able to do what I
enjoy the most, but most of all, to be able to share it with
you.
Many of you know that, besides my love for the arts, I have always
been involved with the environment. While living in Venezuela, I
was a member of the Venezuelan Society for Natural Sciences, and a
board member of their Bromeliads Committee. Now in the USA, I've
been a member of the Branford Garden Club for the past 10 years and
a board member for 5 of those years. I'm telling you this, so you
understand why I have included in this art newsletter an invitation
to our Flower Show on Sept. 17-18. For me, Art and Nature are
bonded together. Don't you think?
I would love to see you and yours soon, at one or all of the events
I list here. Please, make sure to take note of the dates, as most
of the exhibits here have a few events scheduled, starting
tomorrow. Don't miss the fun!
Enjoy the lasts days of summer,
Corina
P.S.:
please, feel free to forward this newsletter to friends and family
who might be interested. Just click on the link at the bottom of
the newsletter. Thank you!
