Welcome Crystal Conway

Crystal Conway recently joined the Division of Research Clinical Research Unit as a research lab specialist.

Conway, of New Jersey, earned a master's degree in marine biology from Nova Southeastern University.

She said has a passion for science in all forms, from clinical research and healthcare to forensics and marine biology, and is driven by a love of learning and a desire to contribute to advancements that make a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Conway said she enjoys traveling and exploring the world with her husband, immersing herself in adventure and different cultures.

When she's home, she said she loves spending time outdoors exploring Florida – hiking, biking or snorkeling with friends and family.

Her goals include continuing to grow as a scientist and leader in research, contributing to health and science advancements and mentoring the next generation of researchers and professionals.

"I chose FAU because it combines a reputation for cutting-edge research with a supportive academic environment that fosters growth and collaboration," Conway said. "FAU allows me to work within a community I deeply value, making it a great place to grow professionally and be part of the University's impactful work."

Welcome Czdari Lee

Florida native Czdari Lee recently joined the Division of Research Clinical Research Unit as a coordinator.

Lee earned a master's degree in biomedical science in the fall 2023 from Florida Atlantic University.

Her hobbies include running, cooking and playing basketball. Her goals are to publish her second paper based on her thesis project and eventually enter either a doctoral program in integrative biology or biomedical science at Florida Atlantic.

"Because of the scholarships I received and the campus atmosphere, I ended up completing both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at FAU," Lee said. "I have always wanted to have a career in research, and the Clinical Research Unit allows me to assist with a multitude of research studies, continue my education and test the practical applications of everything I have learned as a student in a professional setting."
