The Brain Coast Vision
To accelerate progress in brain health and science, Palm Health Foundation has launched a moonshot aspiration called The Brain Coast Vision to create a hub of innovation in Palm Beach County. The vision was announced during Palm Health Foundation's Train the Brain event held at the FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute (SNBI) on Oct. 24.
Some of humankind’s most difficult conditions to understand and treat are related to brain function. Unlocking the brain’s innermost secrets has proven more difficult than putting an astronaut on the moon. As one of the foremost neuroscience research institutions in the region, SNBI has signed on as a partner in Palm Health Foundation’s important new endeavor.

Creative Pumpkins
The Jupiter Campus Library team embraced the Halloween spirit by creating their own pumpkin seascape to reflect the individual interests of library staff members. One pumpkin, “Sea Turtles Hatching,” was inspired by a shared love for the Juno Beach Loggerhead Marinelife Center and all things related to the beach. Another pumpkin, “Great White Shark Gets a Witchy Treat,” was inspired by the library director’s obsession with great white sharks (complete with real shark teeth found by senior library technical assistant, Giavana Badome). The team worked hard and had a lot of fun with their creative collaboration.
