Connect with Council: Office Hours Happening This Week

Mayor Pete Dailey will hold his first office hours on Tuesday, January 28, from 10:30 AM-12 PM in Room 2 at the Grant Park Community Center. He plans to hold office hours every Tuesday that the City Council meets. Office hours allow constituents to ask questions and share concerns in person.

The agenda lists all the items to be discussed during the Tuesday, January 28 City Council meeting. Community members can attend in person at the Council Chambers (1 N San Antonio Rd) or watch live on the City's YouTube channel. The meeting begins at 7 PM.

The Super Bowl LX Source Program connects local businesses with subcontracting opportunities for Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in February 2026. The program also provides valuable capacity-building resources. Businesses are encouraged to learn more and apply by Friday, January 31.

Earthquake Preparedness Grant Program Now Available

Eligible homeowners can apply for up to $3,000 in seismic retrofit grants to protect their homes from potential earthquake damage. Additionally, income-eligible homeowners may also qualify for available supplemental grants. The last day to apply is Wednesday, February 26.

Did You Know? Dog Licensing Required with Animal Control

In accordance with the City Ordinance and California law, all dogs four months and older living in Los Altos must be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. Licensing fees vary for unaltered and altered dogs. Licenses for cats are not required in Los Altos.
