A pilot food scrap recycling initiative was introduced for City of Wixom residents in April 2024. Through this program, City of Wixom residents can now dispose of their food waste with their yard waste at no extra cost. Moving forward, we would like to gauge the potential for expanding this program to surrounding RRRASOC communities. Our goal is to improve RRRASOC communities by providing excellent programs and services, and to move the needle toward our county-wide sustainability goals!
