Library Tax Exemption Available for Low-Income Seniors

The North County Library Authority offers a tax exemption from its $76 annual tax to low-income seniors. To qualify, individuals must meet the income threshold of $62,450 for single-person households or $71,400 for two-person households. The submittal deadline is Sunday, June 30.

The use of gasoline-powered leaf blowers is not allowed within City limits and, if found in use, the property owner may be subject to an administrative citation. To limit noise and air pollution, as well as avoid fines, electric or battery-powered leaf blowers are encouraged.
