Dear alumni,
Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
Many of us spoke these words in the past week, and continue to speak them even now as we continue through the Easter season. The reason for our existence, and the power of our faith, is precisely the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. The cross is empty. The tomb is empty. Our Savior is alive!
At your beloved alma mater, the Concordia community has been gathering around this truth for decades. I want to assure you that even now, especially now, the campus motto from Colossians 1:18, “Christ First in Everything,” exemplifies the daily rhythm of campus life. This week in Chapel we sang the incredible Easter hymn “Jesus Christ is Ris’n Today.” This week students stepped into the final month of classes for this academic year. Commencement is less than one month away! Soon, Concordia graduates will step out to live our mission as they “serve Christ in the Church and the world.”
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for Concordia. I encourage you to watch this short video, which gives you an update and invitation into our CUAA Future. Whether a graduate of CLJC, CCAA, or CUAA, we want to ensure future generations of students have the opportunity to experience our uncommon Concordia mission.
With gratitude for you,
