March 13, 2024 - Issue 30

Good evening!

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood this week. It is great to see the sun shining, the buds popping out of the tree limbs, the tulip leaves bursting through the ground, and steel bleachers reaching for the sky! In keeping with the glowing energy on the Corner of Poplar & Gulf, our Panthers felt renewed, lighter, refreshed, and happier after receiving the sacrament of reconciliation this morning. We are grateful to Fr. Charlie Diedrick - St. Mary Elyria, Fr. Bill Thaden - Sacred Heart Chapel, Fr. Andrew Hoover - St. Anthony of Padua Parma, Fr. Bob Franco & Fr. Isidore Munishi - St. Peter North Ridgeville, Fr. Joe Scalco, CSJ - St. Jude, Fr. Vince Hawk & Fr. Deo Ruwaainenyi - Avon Catholic Community (EC School Chaplain), Fr. Richard Samide - St. Angela Merici, Fr. Eric Garris - Diocese of Cleveland Vocation Director, and Fr. Damian Ference - Diocese of Cleveland Director of Evangelization who took time out of their schedules to spend it with our community today. Thank you!

Enjoy the news below and the rest of your week!

Keep the ripple going!

Peace & Justice Forum

On March 7, Juniors Leah Arocho, Kayla Linden, Nicole DeLuca, Macie Wakefield, Andrew Post and Francis Camp participated in the Catholic Schools for Peace and Justice Forum at John Carroll University with over 300 other students from the catholic high schools in the Diocese of Cleveland. Students heard from a local businessman and entrepreneur who is giving second chances to those who have spent time in jail or who have been affected by a loved one having spent time in jail. They also heard from local organizations in the Diocese of Cleveland that work to help others who have had challenging times in their lives and seek to help people to recognize their own dignity as a child of God.
