Dear students and families of the Class of 2024,
With the school year nearing the halfway point, we are already turning our attention to recognizing this incredible group of seniors throughout the second semester and at our end-of-year events.
We are proud to announce we will be hosting the 2024 Commencement Ceremony at McCaw Hall, the iconic heart of Seattle Center and home to the Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet, on Monday, June 3 at 7 p.m. In the 1950s and ‘60s, Blanchet’s earliest classes celebrated graduations with other Archdiocesan schools on the grounds of Seattle Center. Partnering with McCaw Hall during Blanchet’s historic 70th year is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the future while honoring our past.
With that old tradition, we also plan to continue a new tradition begun last year of celebrating the Baccalaureate Mass outside in the Jim Pinsoneault Quad, weather permitting. The Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on graduation day, Monday, June 3.
Information about commencement and all other graduation events will be shared as we move closer to spring, and will be posted on the senior events page of our website.
Our inspiring Class of 2024 is in the home stretch of their time at Blanchet, and we are excited to celebrate their accomplishments, contributions, and their bright futures with our wonderful community.
