Bridget Mary Laviolette, a nursing student at Springfield Technical Community College, will represent her community and her Irish heritage serving as a member of the Springfield Colleen Court.

STCC to host Community Dental Day on April 27

Springfield Technical Community College dental hygiene program and the Valley District Dental Society will co-host their sixth annual Community Dental Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The event at STCC provides an opportunity for area residents who might not be receiving any dental care to obtain free treatment and to schedule follow-up visits.

STCC Dental Assistant grads honored at pinning ceremony

Future dental assistants celebrated their academic accomplishments and looked to their future at a pinning ceremony at Springfield Technical Community College on Jan. 22. Ten graduates of the Dental Assistant certificate program at STCC participated in the ceremony which honors their entry into the profession.

STCC grad's animated series gets attention

Zulfiqar “Zul” Manzi ’18 applies lessons he learned at Springfield Technical Community College, and a love for comedy, to create his animated series, “The Matumbilas.”

The series is based on his own experiences growing up in a Tanzanian family in Western Massachusetts.
