Save the date! The Rhode Island Bar Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The meeting will provide attendees with outstanding opportunities to learn, improve your practice, socialize with your colleagues, and fulfill annual CLE requirements with 40 seminars on a variety of pertinent legal topics.

This year, the Thursday morning plenary speakers, Dean Andrew Perlman from Suffolk University Law School, and Professor Sonia Gipson Rankin from the University of New Mexico School of Law, promise enlightening insights on artificial intelligence and the legal profession.

Our Friday afternoon plenary speaker is Kori Carew, Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer at Seyfarth Shaw and a TEDx Speaker. Kori’s dynamic presentation is designed to enhance your understanding of the importance of inclusivity while fostering a sense of belonging within our legal community.

Gontarz. Additionally, we will have the pleasure of traditional remarks by Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul A. Suttell on the State of the Rhode Island Judiciary.
