Meet Hannah Cohen

Hannah Cohen is the new assistant director of administrative operations and special projects for the Division of Research's Office of Vice President.

Cohen has a variety of expertise spanning from non-profit organizations and health care as well as the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration and Customs Border Protection at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.

The Office of Sponsored Programs will now have an office in room 297 in the Administration Building on the Boca Raton campus. In addition, Sponsored Programs team members are still on the Davie campus, as well as the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute. APEX Accelerator at FAU

FAU’s Innovation and Business Development program has been selected as the regional administrator for the newly named Florida APEX Accelerator, a federal network designed to expand the number of businesses in the United States capable of participating in government contracts. FAU is the exclusive administrator of the APEX Accelerator program for Palm Beach and Broward counties, with the goal of helping create a resilient, sustainable supply chain for the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal, state and local government agencies.

Request for Applications

The Office of Technology Development is now accepting applications to the Innovation Pilot Award Program. The program provides researchers funding to support the commercialization of early-stage innovations developed through FAU research.

Division of Research Toy Drive

The Division of Research is hosting a toy drive for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. To participate, drop off an unwrapped toy to cubicle C on the third floor of OB-1 by Thursday, Nov. 30.

The Division of Research will deliver the toys to the Palm Beach County Toys for Tots location at the South Florida Fairgrounds the first week of December.
