Work Exchange & Volunteer Opportunities

In Loving Memory

We dedicate this month's spotlight, in loving memory, to longtime Mind-Builders family member, Adewole Love.

With profound sadness shared by all who knew him, on November 1st, Adewole Love passed. A masterful musician and undoubtedly one of the kindest human beings to grace our lives. He carried his family name, 'Love,' with grace and authenticity, living it in every note he played and every beat he shared.

Adewole Love was a unique presence. He was more than just a drum instructor, his kindness extending beyond his music and touched the lives of everyone he encountered. We remember the warmth of his smile, the wisdom in his words, and the joy he brought through his music.

Brother of our respected African dance teacher, Noelani Love, both Loves have been connected to Mind-Builders for many years. Adewole leaves behind a legacy  that will resonate with the lives he touched through his music. As we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we find solace in knowing that his music will continue to drum in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, Adewole Love.
