Dear fellow alumni,
Have you ever clicked on an interesting post just to see the comments? Some people’s reactions really stick with you. Our Class of 1973 will be on campus this weekend for their 50th reunion, and I’m here for the comments!
If they’re anything like the classes before them, we’ll hear things like:
My best friends to this day are my Concordia friends.
I met my spouse here!
We had profs who really cared about us.
This is where I grew up.
(If you want to read the stories behind some of these comments, check out why they chose their 50th reunion class gift to give back to Concordia.)
Concordia is where we grew in faith, knowledge, and made friendships that last a lifetime. Whether your 50th reunion is already a memory or decades away, Paul’s opening comments to the Philippians describe how we feel about all of you.
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Amen!
