Happy Summer! As July arrives, we are thrilled to announce the opening of Abigail DeVille: In the Fullness of Time, which will remain on view until November 10^th. It joins many other compelling exhibitions at the Museum, including The Book of Two Hemispheres: "Uncle Tom’s Cabin" in the United States and Europe, which closes on July 21^st. As we relax into long days of summer, we invite you to join us and other friends and family for an abundance of programming, featuring musical concerts, talks by artists, curators, and scholars aimed at all ages.

Artist Abigail DeVille explores how marginalized communities persevere through their search for renewal and happiness as they migrate to new places that become sanctuaries.

The Book of Two Hemispheres: Uncle Tom's Cabin in the United States and Europe

The exhibition explores the international circulation of imagery that propelled the widespread if controversial fame of Uncle Tom’s Cabin and its author Harriet Beecher Stowe.
