It is with much sadness that we inform you of the passing of former Pickering Football Club member, Alexandra Maxwell.

|
An enthusiastic player with PFC from a young age, Alex went on to become a dedicated and compassionate pediatric nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children, where she worked tirelessly with her 7B family and cared for those with COVID-19 throughout the pandemic.
All of us at PFC are sending our deepest condolences to
Alexandra's family, friends, loved ones, and former teammates.

The good news continues with our L1R U19 Women's team who have clinched the East Division and finished in first place!
BIG congratulations to the team, Coach Peter Hogg, and all those involved this season.

Last but not least, the Canadian Women's National Team are off to a great start in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup with their recent result against the Republic of Ireland, winning 2-1. Canada is now in second place right behind Nigeria on a total of 4 points.
The red and white are coming up against host nation Australia next in a must-win match on Monday, July 31st at 6:00AM. Be sure to cheer them on bright and early with a cup of coffee!

Details: 5pm to 8pm at the Pickering Soccer Centre Event Room.
This is for those players who were unable to attend Picture Day on June 24 - It is not for picture retakes.
Please wear full uniform - Remember your team name and age division.

One of our match officials Tristan Forgie was the Head Match Official on Sunday, July 23 at the Ontario Soccer Centre for the U18 Girls Ontario Cup Final. This is the 3rd year in a row that Tristan has been assigned as the Head Match Official for an Ontario Cup final.
Tristan got his start as a match official with the PFC as a 16-year-old. He currently is on the list of match officials for League1 and is working towards completing the requirements to be a regional referee.
