Los Altos Welcomes New Chief of Police

The City welcomes Los Altos native Saskia Lagergren as its newly appointed chief of police. Lagergren brings more than 21 years of experience in policing to Los Altos, most recently as captain of the Santa Clara Police Department. She will assume this position on Monday, June 3.

Change to City Hall Hours Start This Week

Beginning Monday, June 3, City Hall will introduce new business hours. These hours will be Monday-Friday from 8 AM-5 PM with lunch closure from 12-1 PM. A complete list of City facility operational hours is available on the City website.
