As spring arrives here in mid-coast Maine, we look forward to saluting members of the Class of 2023 as they prepare for their Commencement. At the Museum, we hope you will join us on May 5th for a special program in conjunction with In Light of Rome: Early Photography in the Capital of the Art World, 1842-1871. Other ongoing exhibitions provide opportunities to delve into artwork from antiquity to the present, including new additions to Re|Framing the Collection: New Considerations in European and American Art, 1475–1875. Also, in this issue, acquaint yourself with a new Polar Bear gracing the Museum’s collection, and learn more about the Museum’s work to welcome Multilingual Mainers to campus.

We look forward to seeing you at the Museum!
