Dear Member, Stakeholder, Supporter,

We hope you will find as much joy as we did in the pictures below showing our Club President, Ed Whitehead, receiving a Civic Award for his services to community sport. Ed was presented with his award by City of Pickering Mayor Kevin Ashe at a ceremony at City Hall in early May. 

Ed has been a constant support to both Board and Staff during arguably the most challenging period in our club's history. As a former coach for his children's teams, Ed then moved on to lead a highly successful '95 Boys team for over a decade and a '94 Boys team that also brought home silverware.

Ed was a major influence in the success of our PFC Summer Camps for many years and as he started to reduce the on-field activities, there was a new lease on life found in the governance of the Club and his roles; first as Vice President and then as President of PFC.

Ed's financial prowess has navigated the Club through the pandemic and the dome collapse bringing us to a position where the Club is seeing a renewed vigour with record numbers of players at both Recreational and Competitive levels while enjoying the use of our brand-new dome and playing surface.

This recognition is well deserved and the Club Board and Staff want to sincerely thank Ed for his commitment to PFC, and also to his family for sharing him with us for so many years.

Finally, with summer soccer now in full swing, consider this a friendly, but IMPORTANT REMINDER to all parents, caregivers, players:

By-law officers will be patrolling to enforce/ticket prohibited parking.

Please be respectful of community residents in the neighbourhood and ALWAYS leave handicapped parking spaces for those in need. 

Help keep everyone safe by only parking in designated areas!

Registration for the on line 2023 Ontario Soccer Match Official Clinics is now open. You will register directly with Ontario Soccer. This link will take you to the information page/registration link for the clinics.

It is important that you read the Student Guide prior to registering for a clinic and it will provide you with valuable information on the clinics, the process, and the practical sessions. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Ontario Soccer at matchofficials@ontariosoccer.net as this will speed up getting the answers you need. Also consult the FAQ document that can be found on the webpage to assist you.

Entry Level – must be 14 years of age as of March 31, 2023 - $135 fee

Small Sided Game – must be 12 years of age as of March 31, 2023 - $110 fee

Remember to list the Pickering FC as your club when you register!
