STUDENTS SHINE IN BLACK HISTORY MONTH SHOWCASE

Our talented drama club students performed a preview of this year's Black History Month Showcase for their classmates on Thursday afternoon at the St. Stanislaus Social Center. The Showcase features a dynamic collage of acts promoting the importance of Black culture and history. Acts include skits and original poetry written by students.  Thursday's preview concluded with a performance by our talented drumline led by CCCHS music teacher, Mr. Andre Love.

Drama Club Moderator and teacher, Ms. Hanna Ford, shared that the performance blends elements of Black Box and Reader's Theater - where students utilize acting techniques to bring the words from their scripts to life with small, minimalist set design and costuming.

We hope you will join us for the performance this evening, Friday, February 21 at 6:00 PM in the St. Stanislaus Social Center. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased HERE or at the door. We hope to see you there!
