Mission Statement
The objective of The Bears Club is to build a Catholic community, to support the school's teachers and administration, and to support the fundraising and social activities of Holy Spirit Parish School. Our goal is to encourage parental involvement to enhance the experience, and facilitate communication between parents, school administration and the Holy Spirit parish. We encourage you to read the BEARS Club Bylaws.

To clarify the questions that came up in the State of the School, the BEARS CLUB does not act as a liaison between parents and admin when it comes to administrative issues or concerns, but is a partner with admin in building a dynamic community through fundraising and social events. We encourage all community members to reach out to their teachers or school administrators directly to discuss concerns or issues that arise.
As far as the questions on how BEARS Club members are selected, each year we send out a Parent Interest Survey like the one above for this year. On this form, parents can express their interest and nominate themselves to sit on committees, work as a BEARS Club member, event chair, etc. BEARS Club officers are selected by the School Administration. All parents are welcome and encouraged to self-nominate for these positions. As for the event chairs, they are selected by the School Administration, Advancement Director, and the BEARS Club President. The Parent interest Survey is how parents can self-nominate for these positions as well.

CLASSROOM MOVING DAY - Saturday, June 10th and 17th
|
Parents, meet your new teacher or help last year's teacher move into their new digs. We need parent volunteers to help move the classrooms on Saturday June 10th and Saturday June 17th from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The more the merrier. Volunteers are encouraged to bring any moving dollies, hand trucks, wagons, carts or anything that can be used in a move.

MAMA BEAR PALOOZA
MUSIC FESTIVAL
|
at Barrio Cafe in South Land Park to help support pediatric cancer families. Andrea Velazquez, a school mom, along with other parents established the MAMA BEARS FIGHTING CHILDHOOD CANCER.
- Tickets are $25/adult; $10/kids (16 and under); Free for kids 3 and under.
- Come out to enjoy multiple bands and a DJ.
- There will be fun activities such as raffle baskets, door prizes, corn hole, hula hoop competition, ping pong, and face painting.
Join our Holy Spirit Parish School community in supporting this event and their foundation!
