Fall 2023 Avoid the Void

As you prepare for the fall semester, it is essential to note that the payment deadline for Fall 2023 is August 16th. In order for you to avoid being voided from your courses, you must pay the balance in full or enroll in the payment plan by the balance due date. 

If you are living in USA Housing and/or has a meal plan, this balance may put you at risk of being removed from your residence hall and/or suspension of your meal plan if not paid by the deadline.

Fall 2023 Financial Readiness Checklist

• Reviewed student account balance in PAWS.

• Applied for financial aid through the FAFSA and completed all requirements to accept loans, if applicable.

• Reviewed scholarship status in JagSPOT, if applicable.

• Applied for a private student loan, if applicable.

• Enrolled in the USA Payment Plan, if applicable.

• Set up Electronic Direct Deposit in PAWS. Watch FAQ Video

• Created FERPA and set up Authorized User, if applicable.

• Looked into the tuition protection insurance offered through GradGuard.



• Bookmarked the academic calendar. 

• Plan to ensure balance is covered in full or enroll in the payment plan by the August 16th deadline.  

• Plan to reach out to USA One Stop if questions come up.
