As 2023 draws to a close, we want to thank the many people who make the Museum of Art such a special place. Our gratitude to the extraordinary staff at the Museum, to the faculty and students who work with the exhibitions and collections, and to the many alumni and friends in our community and beyond who support this institution. This month the Museum unveils two exciting new exhibitions, Jim Dine: Last Year’s Forgotten Harvest (opens December 7) and Without Apology: Asian American Selves, Memories, Futures (opens December 14). Each is accompanied by a new publication. Also, mark your calendar for two musical performances with George Lopez, Bowdoin’s Beckwith Artist in Residence, on December 14. Be sure to get your free tickets in advance, as seating is limited. Finally, please note that the Museum will close for the holidays beginning on Sunday, December 24. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
