CCCHS HOSTS CHRISTMAS ON CAMPUS

Kindergartners from St. Aloysius and St. Stanislaus School visited CCCHS recently for a celebratory "Christmas on Campus" event. The kindergartners made ornaments, listened to a story, had snacks and caroled through the halls led by our cheerful CCCHS Student Senate elves.

Christmas on Campus concluded with a visit from Santa Claus who brought each child a gift from the North Pole! The "Christmas on Campus" event has become a beloved tradition that CCCHS looks forward to each year! Thank you to Ms. Erin Williams and Mr. Victor Benton `12 for coordinating the event, to our student Senate elves and to our very own Santa, Mr. Mark Albert.

HONORING OUR SENIOR WRESTLERS

On Wednesday, December 18, the senior athletes from the CCCHS Boys Wrestling team were honored in a special ceremony before the home wrestling match at the St. Stanislaus Social Center. Surrounded by their family and friends, the athletes received recognition for their hard work and dedication to the sport.

Senior athletes recognized at the event included Keyshawn Martin `25, Jontae Fields-Goolsby `25, Qui-don Russel `25, Jemil Pace Jr. `25, Hector Aboytes `25, DeShaun Jones `25 (not pictured) and JahMaine Singleton `25 (not pictured).

During the match, the boys team competed against Benedictine, John Hay, and Warrensville Heights. The Lady Ironmen faced off against John Hay and Warrensville Heights High School. It was an exciting evening filled with fierce competition and some great individual wins by some of our wrestlers.

CCCHS CHRISTMAS BREAK: December 23 - January 5. School resumes on Monday, January 6th.

Christmas break is the perfect time to unwind, recharge, and have some fun. Here are some ideas to make the most of your time off:

1. Holiday Movie Marathon - Organize a holiday-themed movie marathon with friends or family. Watch classics like Home Alone, The Grinch, Elf, or A Christmas Carol. Don’t forget the popcorn and hot chocolate!

2. Volunteer - Give back to your community by volunteering at a local shelter or food bank.

3. Holiday Light Tour - Take a walk or drive around your town or neighborhood to see the best Christmas light displays.

4. Winter Sports - Our athletes need your support! Gather a group of friends and plan to cheer on our Ironman athletes! It will be a great time to catch up over break and show your Ironman pride!

5. Plan Your New Year's Resolutions - Use the time off to reflect on your goals for the new year. Write down your resolutions, whether they’re about school, self-improvement, or health, and plan how you’ll work towards them.

6. Catch Up on Hobbies - Christmas break is the perfect time to indulge in hobbies you may not have time for during the school year. Whether it’s drawing, writing, playing an instrument, or gaming, spend time doing what makes you happiest.

7. Game Night with Friends - Host a game night with board games, card games, or video games. Invite friends over and spend the evening competing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.

Whatever you choose, Christmas break is about balance—having fun, relaxing, and making memories. Whether you prefer outdoor adventures or staying cozy indoors, there’s no shortage of ways to make the break special!
