Fall 2024 Financial Readiness Checklist
1.) Review student account balance in PAWS.
2.) Apply for financial aid through the FAFSA and complete all requirements to accept loans, if applicable.
3.) Fully accept all scholarship offers in JagSPOT, if applicable. Including thank you letters and donor questionnaires, if required.
4.) Apply for a private student loan, if applicable.
5.) Enroll in the USA Payment Plan, if applicable.
6.) Set up Electronic Direct Deposit in PAWS.
7.) Create FERPA and set up Authorized User, if applicable.
8.) Look into the tuition protection insurance offered through GradGuard.
9.) Bookmark the academic calendar.
10.) Plan to ensure your balance is covered in full or enroll in the payment plan by the deadline.
11.) Plan to reach out to USA One Stop if questions come up.
