“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

Dear fellow alumni:
We all give thanks to God for the beginning of our 59th academic year! Our students are here on campus and excited to be reunited with their friends and professors. (Just look at those smiling faces!) Think back to your first semester and remember what it was like getting used to your class schedule, the cafeteria, chapel, dorm life, practice, rehearsal, and more. No matter how much time has gone by, you can relate to what our students are feeling right now. Your prayers and support for our students mean so much!
Our opening worship service was especially glorious with the processional cross, the faculty in all of their academic regalia, and a full house with organ and brass. Did you hear that CUAA alumnus Stephen Starke wrote a special "theme hymn" for CUAA’s 2021-22 academic year? It was a special highlight of our worship, and I’ve been singing the refrain in my head all week long!
All-surpassing Lord and Savior,
Life is shaped with purpose as You planned;
We are clay, O Master Potter,
Made and molded by Your loving hand!
God’s continued blessings,
|

Occupational Therapy Doctoral program apps now OPEN!
|
|
We are currently taking applications for those who may be interested in earning their doctorate in physical therapy. Like many OT programs nationwide, CUAA has partnered with OTCAS, a centralized, web-based application service, in order to connect with prospective students. OTCAS offers online checklists and step-by-step instructions to provide a convenient and efficient application process for candidates. The service stores students’ transcripts and references, and allows them to track which colleges have received or viewed their materials. The OTCAS application went live in late July and already, applications for CUAA’s new doctoral program are flowing in. Pending accreditation approval, CUAA expects to launch its classes in summer 2022. To learn more, click here.

Final Thought from
Campus Pastor Randy Duncan

Each morning during the school year, our campus pastor, Randy Duncan, sends out an email full of inspirational thoughts, concepts to ponder, scripture, and prayer requests. We thought we would share some of his thoughts with you each month for us to contemplate.
