Join us for an online fireside chat on birth justice in Fresno
We will discuss policies on the statewide and local level that support Black maternal and child health, and how providers and birth workers can utilize these resources. Attendees will also learn about our Fresno Voices for Birth Justice campaign, and how providers and birth workers can join the chorus for Black birth justice. You do not need to live or work in Fresno to attend. All are welcome.
SisterWeb's recent publication uncovers the nuances of doula time use. They found that for every hour that doulas spent with a client in prenatal and postpartum visits, on average, they spent an additional 2.15 hours communicating with and supporting their clients in other ways.
Expecting Justice's trained doulas will provide free doula services to San Francisco expecting mamas. Free Doula services include prenatal support, labor and delivery as well as postpartum care. Requests can be made until May 8 2023.
