Parks & Recreation Summer Registration Starting Soon

Los Altos resident courtesy registration for Parks & Recreation classes and camps begins Monday, May 13. Classes start Tuesday, June 11, with youth camps starting the week of June 17. Camps run in one-week increments, with half-day or full-day options, through Monday, August 5, for children 3.5 to 11.

Feedback Requested: Equitably Cultivating the Apricot Harvest

The Los Altos History Museum is hosting a dialogue on “Gathering the Fruits of Orchard Rehabilitation” on Thursday, May 16, at 5:30 PM. Following a brief presentation, attendees will brainstorm options to enhance inclusivity and equity in the harvesting process. Free for museum members; $15 for all others.

You're Invited: More Ways to Celebrate Bike Month in Los Altos

Community members are invited to the Downtown Los Altos Bike n' Dine event on Friday, May 17, from 5-8 PM, including music, activities, and a bike valet for bike parking. The first 100 cyclists to pre-register and check in at the event will receive a swag bag with discounts and offers from downtown restaurants.

Feedback Requested: Age Friendly Town Hall Meeting

Parks & Recreation is hosting a free Age Friendly Town Hall on Thursday, May 23, at 1 PM at the Los Altos Community Center. The community is encouraged to share input on the current needs of older adults and explore ideas for maintaining a community that enables aging in place. Registration is required.
