August 2022 Eureka Chamber Membership News
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR CEO
Warm Greetings!

Nancy Olson
CEO/President
I am thrilled to join the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce Team as your new CEO. Sincere thanks to the Chamber Board for this honor, and to so many of you who have extended your good wishes already.

I’ve spent my first week getting oriented to the ins and outs of life here at the Chamber office, and want to give special shout out to Susan Gillespie for her expert guidance, and for serving as Interim CEO for the past several months. I suspected this before becoming CEO, but have now seen it up close – she is truly the steady hand that keeps the Chamber engines humming.

As I settle in here, my priority is simple: to listen. To our members, to our board, to our community. I want to be sure our Chamber is meaningfully addressing the most pressing needs in ways that align with our mission: to serve as a catalyst, convener and champion for business and community development.

Looking to the future, we will be laser focused on tactical support through advocacy, connection, expanded marketing for your business, and educational opportunities for you and your team - all informed by your input.

I hope you’ll join us for our next mixer, August 18 starting at 5:30pm, at the Clarke Historical Museum, hosted by City of Eureka. Would love to meet you there!

May you be well,
Nancy

P.S. If you’re curious and want to learn more about my background, here’s my LinkedIn profile. Please feel free to connect with me there!
