Expansion Coming Soon to Hermiston Office

Last November we announced that UEC was evaluating options for the future of our Hermiston office. During a thorough review process, the UEC Board of Directors discussed multiple options to accommodate the cooperative’s growing needs.

Overwhelmingly, the desire was to stay at our current location and utilize as much of our existing facility as possible.

Expansion plans are to:

• Add 25 percent square footage

• Increase space for employee growth



Members will likely see construction activities begin soon at the site. As our construction begins, please be safe driving through the area.

UEC's Adelaide Zumwalt, Manager of IT, Completes NRECA's Management Internship Program

Adelaide Zumwalt received recognition in December for completing the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's (NRECA) Management Internship Program. The Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program is a comprehensive, six-week program that provides an in-depth analysis of the functions and processes of cooperative management.

Attendees will have a chance to submit questions and talk with UEC's Energy Efficiency team. This event is free and open to the public.
