Happy New Year! On behalf of our colleagues, it brings us pleasure to share our very best wishes for 2022 and to thank you for your support of the Museum. This month we share news of recent acquisitions and exciting upcoming events and new exhibitions. We hope that you can join us on Friday, January 28th, for a conversation with artist Sonya Clark in connection with There is a Woman in Every Color: Black Women in Art. This exciting exhibition is only on view until January 30th, so be sure to see it soon! But as one show closes, another is unveiled. The student-curated exhibition, Innovation and Resiliance Across Three Generations of Wabanaki Basket Making opens to the public on January 27. Please note that the Museum will re-open on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
