Come ready to share openly and think creatively! Your input is absolutely essential!
Ministry Clarity Questions
Since God has blessed Immanuel with space and a community that uses their talents freely and generously in praising God, then:
- How can we creatively incorporate praise in all aspects of what we do?
- How do we include praising outside of the sanctuary?
Since God has blessed Immanuel with resources and a community eager to use their talents freely and generously in serving God and others, then:
- What unmet need is there in your neighborhood that Immanuel could fulfill?
- What are mission opportunities that we could develop and spearhead in a creative and innovative way?
- How do we include prayer and sharing our faith as part of our serving opportunities?
- Learning – Proverbs 23:12
Since God has blessed Immanuel with resources, leaders, and a desire to grow in God’s Word relationally and academically, then:
- What learning opportunities are we missing?
- How can we expand our reach?
- Connecting – Ephesians 4:16
Since God has blessed the Immanuel family with a desire to grow in relationship with God, each other, and the community-at-large, then:
- What on ramps can we develop to connect people to Immanuel?
- How can we foster stronger ties among the entire Immanuel community [church, school, and …]?
- How do we build our remote congregation, including shut-ins?
- Praying – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and Philippians 4:6-7
Since God has blessed the Immanuel family with a desire to discern His will through a deeper, unceasing conversation with Him and to intercede for all those in need, then:
- There is positive momentum in Immanuel’s prayer life. How do we grow it even more?
- How do we make prayer and listening to God part of all that we do at Immanuel?
How can we more fully further our mission?
As the Mission Clarity Project continues, current ministry is being evaluated on its alignment with this mission, which will result in a strategic ministry plan that pulls all the pieces together. These findings and the ministry plan will be communicated to the congregation as a whole.
