Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, TCA is now commissioning statutory declarations virtually for our members.
If you require the signature of a commissioner of oaths, the virtual commissioning process will be as follows:
-
Email us at statdec@tcaconnect.com to set up the video conference.
- Commissioning staff will ask for identification in order to verify the member's identity. Have your picture identification ready.
- Once confirmed you will sign the Statutory Declarations while the commissioning staff witness. You will then need to scan and send it by email.
- Once received, the commissioning staff will print and verify the signature that they witnessed and if everything is satisfactory, they will sign and email it back.

RFQ Contractor - Seaton Paramedic Response Station & Training Facility
The Regional Municipality of Durham operates the Region of Durham Paramedic Services (RDPS). The Region is proposing to construct a new paramedic station in the new community of Seaton in north Pickering (Seaton RDPS). The proposed facility includes an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), emergency vehicle bays, and several training classrooms among other facilities. The 1,968 m2 station building is proposed to be implemented in two phases, with Phase 1 measuring 1548 m2 in size and Phase 2 measuring 420 m2 in size.
The first phase will include a total of 54 parking spaces, while the second phase will add an additional 18 parking spaces, bringing the overall total to 72 parking spaces for the site.
There will also be:
- a 2,265 m2 outdoor driving pad to be used for ambulance training.
- Two access driveways are proposed for the site; a main access driveway off Sideline 16 and a secondary access driveway off Concession Road 5 that only provides access to 3 visitor parking spaces.
- The two accesses allow a flow-through configuration for emergency vehicles entering at Sideline 16 and exiting the site onto Concession Road 5.
The new Seaton RDPS is proposed to be constructed on a greenfield parcel of land, approximately 16,000 m2 (4.1 ha or 10 acres) in size and located in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Concession Road 5 and Sideline 16, approximately 720 m east of the intersection of Brock Road and Concession Road 5.
Estimated Value: $10,000,000.
