Honoring Tim McQueary, LBCC Hero
Recently our college community lost a true champion of student success: Tim McQueary of Sweet Home, Oregon. Tim passed away in February 2021, but leaves an incredible legacy of generous support to Linn-Benton Community College that has paved the way for many students to realize their dreams.

LBCC Announces June "CARmencement"
LBCC will celebrate graduates of both the classes of 2021 and 2020 at a COVID-safe and interactive “CARmencement” on June 9th and 10th. Read more
Soren Skinner Continues a Family Tradition
Soren Skinner grew up in the kitchen. “My happiest memories, since the age of two, were those spent cooking with my family." Skinner is in his second year at Linn-Benton Community College and will graduate this June with a Culinary Arts degree.

Sydney Kasner Encourages Others to 'Just Jump In'
Sydney Kasner always knew she had the capability to be a leader. But it was LBCC that "enabled me to be my best self. The opportunities they provided me just changed my world," she said.

Just Two Years from High School Graduation to Rewarding Career
Caleb Martin will graduate from LBCC’s Heavy Duty Diesel - Construction and Forestry Program this coming June. After graduation, he will move into a full-time position as a shop technician with Coastline Equipment.

Student-Athlete Alumni Spotlight
March's Roadrunner Spotlight features former volleyball player Shannon Gerding Starwalt. Shannon is currently a faculty member in Oregon State University's College of Pharmacy and she has a clinical practice at Samaritan Medical Center.
