The Crane Rental Association of Canada (CRAC) is hosting a webinar on April 20th, 2021 regarding an amendment to the two-year all-terrain cranes pilot project. CRAC is seeking to limit the pilot project to 3-, 4-, and 5-axle cranes and to allow these cranes to operate at permitted pilot project weights. This will restrict larger cranes (6-,7-, & 8-axles) to the current legislated weight restrictions.
Click here to register for CRAC’s webinar and provide feedback on this proposed amendment and the pilot project.

Calculate your energy savings with the Lighting Calculator
The Village of Edgerton recently completed a lighting retrofit at their local ice rink. The Village will start saving $1,740 a year after the project’s two-year pay pack period. Here’s what Kaylan White, Mayor of the Village of Edgerton had to say about completing a light retrofit with funding from the Recreation Energy Conservation Program:

“The Village of Edgerton prides itself on finding new ways to increase efficiencies and partnering with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to upgrade the Edgerton Arena’s lighting to LEDs is a great example of that initiative. LEDs create a brighter environment and reduces the yearly facility costs, which keeps fees low and puts more money back into our Arena for other projects.” - Kaylan White, Mayor, Village of Edgerton

Use the Lighting Calculator to discover potential energy savings and the rebate you could receive. Use the calculator to estimate savings without the need for a Scoping Audit or Engineering Study. Calculate your savings today!
