Retraction: Last week we posted a story about Elizabeth Freeman which said she lived with the Sedgwick family until her death. What the story should have said was that after 20 years of paid work in the Sedgwick house after she freed herself from enslavement, she was able to purchase her own home where she lived with her children until her death.
